The impeachment trial of President Trump began yesterday. Trump was impeached in the House of Representatives. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently signed the impeachment articles, and delivered over to the Senate.
The Senate trial will be political theater at it's finest. In the end, I believe Trump will be acquitted; more so, it will help his reelection bid later this year. This trial was a big gift handed over to Trump (should he be acquitted).
The countdown until Trump's acquittal has begun.
