Just to be clear, these are not my words!!
When the Qinbuzhizi skywalk opened in 2017 it was dubbed by many as the most thrilling skywalk in Taiwan. It's located at Hualien on the east coast of Taiwan and is the only skywalk above the sea. The whole skywalk is 150m long, 50m above the sea, and there is a 20m stretch of glass walkway towards the end. The Qinbuzhizi skywalk was constructed during the Japanese colonial days during 1910-1945 and was used by the locals to commute between two villages along the Pacific Ocean. After a tunnel was constructed, the skywalk fell into derelict. In recent years, the local authorities spent three years restoring and added a glass skywalk to it and reopened as another tourist location in Hualien.
親不知子海上古道位於台灣花蓮的豐濱鄉。 在2017年開始營運時，被譽為最驚險的天空步道。 古道離開太平洋海面有50米高，長150米其中20米是透明玻璃步道。 這條古道在日治時期建設，當年是部落居民其中一條主要步道。 後來建了隧道這條沿著崖邊的天空步道就逐漸荒廢。 直到有關部門花了三年時間把古道重修，再開放成為花蓮另一景點。
The skywalk has a limit of around 100 people at any one time, which seems a lot for such a small stretch of pathway. If it was at full capacity I don't think it would be enjoyable at all. This wasn't a problem for me during my visit, as it was raining and there were hardly any other visitors around.
Come and join me on my walk along the cliff and see for yourself on whether it's as thrilling as it claims.
