We had lunch at the Dubai Polo and equestrian centre and watched the show jumpers practicing with their horses and later watched a flock of Indian Miner birds coming home to roost in the trees.

There are so many places to eat in Dubai that you are spoiled for choice. My daughter Natalie and her husband live in Dubai and so know all the best places to visit for an interesting eating experience.

The Dubai equestrian centre has a lovely restaurant where you can sit and watch the horses and their riders practicing their show jumping skills. It was fascinating to watch.

They lead the horse around the circuit and show them the jumps up close and then they attempt to jump them. There was only one refusal the whole time we sat there which was quite a long time.

In the evening we saw a huge flock of Indian Miner birds that roost in the nearby trees at dusk so we stayed and watched as they flew in from all directions.
For lunch I had a Wagyu beef burger which was pretty good, Natalie had a club sandwich and Linda had the Grouper. All the meals were very tasty and the environment was just lovely.
I'm getting into this #foodphotography lark
My Wagyu beef burger

Natalie's club sandwich

Linda's grouper

All in all, a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon and early evening.
Thanks for watching and reading

This looks like a wonderful place to eat and relax. My wife would love the horse jumping and riding display.
It is a fab club and a great place to get a bite to eat. My wife and daughter love the place too.
For me the highlight was watching the birds come home to roost.
What fun lunch time entertainment! Great photos!
Very relaxing afternoon and watching the birds flocking was the icing on the cake.
