RE: I pulled the trigger on this guitar - Pivot point part two video

This is so cool to see @dtube working so well. Yesterday when I posted my video it only showed up on D.tube after talking to @adetorrent he reminded me that we have to be logged into both the steem and dtube accounts to cross post to the rest of the network. Great advice Ade. It worked a treat. Thank you.

Wohoo!

In addition to that, if you want to save more time, you don't have to upload the actual video file to DTube either. You can upload to YouTube and just use the link from the YouTube video in the upload screen of DTube :)

Unless you're worried about decentralisation, then this is much faster and your videos don't vanish after a couple of months.

Cool Ade and thanks for the heads up. That will save time for sure but don't dtube pay less for links over direct uploads?

I read about setting up a server so that the videos never disappear. Afaik if we run our own servers they will never be deleted. May be a bit costly with a lot of video content?

We always have the original videos on our hard drives hopefully so they can be deployed somewhere else anytime.

Just a thought at the moment but as you say if they are on YouTube. They are kind of permanent...until YouTube pulls the plug for whatever reason?

YouTube does seem to be pulling the plug on so many accounts lately?
