Yeah... I love the idea of a "smart home" but I hate that every company sends itself all the data it collects for research purposes. Apparently Alexa sends data back to Amazon every 3 seconds. I do think, eventually, entrepreneurs and disruptors will make products that don't collect data, and they'll be the winners.
