A big step in the right direction and since DTube was sponsored with a lot of Steem I expect these buffering issues will go away. The first thing they did was get 2 more servers to speed up the encoding process for new uploads. The only feature I miss, and this is the one that will kill YT for me, is private or unlisted video. I use this feature to get written permission from bands/artists/composers to publish their stuff. If I get the OK, the video goes live, if not, it's removed without ever being visible to the public. Without this feature I can't use DTube exclusively yet as there is no delete function available that I know of. From a viewer's perspective things just got a whole lot better, yeehaw!
Yeah I see what you mean, it would be good to have an option for situations like that, especially as the site gets bigger I suppose copyrighting may become more of an issue.
