RE: Democrats Already Voter Shaming For 2020

in #dtube6 years ago

“It’s never too early to restart a failed message”..... When 16 Democrats join Republicans and vote to roll back the banking regulations, including former VP hopeful Tim Kaine, can we really say that the message failed?

Sure, the Democrat’s corporate donors didn’t get Hillary Clinton on the throne, but when you consider what’s really important to corporations, after a year with Trump they’ve gotten everything they would’ve demanded from the Dems, and a hell of a lot more.

In fact, the Democrat’s message turned out to be a double-non-fail, because with a GOP House, Senate and WH, whilst the donors fill their pockets and cream their pants, the elected Dems can detract 100% from their policy and voting records by pointing towards Trump and screaming “Racist” “Misogynist” “Russia” etc.

Yep, the message didn’t fail at all, because those who control the Democratic Party have received a far better return on their investment than they ever could’ve hoped for.

Sort:

Too true! Despite the most embarassing election loss in American History, the corporate Dems have been continually rewarded since Trump took office. With that in mind, I'm afraid this "New-McCarthyism" is going to get much worse before it has any chance of getting better.

Sadly @fantastique I fear you are correct. “RUSSIA” has become a convenient distraction, but it’s also very dangerous and more than likely, disingenuous.
