Overnight 21-22 May 2019, mobs paid by opposition entities rioted in Tanah Abang, Jakarta Pusat. Several cars, motorcycles and a Brinmob (armored personnel carrier) were set ablaze. Troops continue to deploy around the city, as more mercenaries are expected to arrive today. A protective barrier of police, brinmobs, buses, and concertina wire surround the KPU (General Election Commission).
