The driver with one passenger in it was chased by a patrol in the city for reckless driving. The moment the police tried to intercept the vehicle, one of the police officers was almost intercepted and for this reason, Marbella's local police opened fire.
The vehicle was found more than 30 kilometers northeast of Marbella in Mijas. Radio Marbella has learned that one of the tires had been punctured by a bullet.
Local police say that abandoned vehicle with a French license has been reported stolen since June.
The police are still looking for the two persons.
