Heavy libertarian, because I'm a communist. I believe in the general stages of progress, but I don't think governments can force the dialetic.
More so, if you have ever read the Mars Trilogy, the philosophy expounded right at the end is pretty much aligned. It pretty much argues that every stage of progresa always ends up keeping elements of the previous one. So the Industrial/Capitalist era contained alot of fuedalistic elementa. Now as we enter the Socialist/Digital era (Space era in the book, its an older book) it will contain capitalistic elements, but the feudalist aspects will downgrade.
