You forgot to mention here. That NATO commanders and US politicians usually take over what is left of occupied country's economy. They are particularly interested into mines, telecommunication companies and power grid and production companies.

Hearing the terrifying sound of the sirens several times per day, spending nights in complete darkness because of the power restrictions and hearing nothing but sound of planes approaching, running into the basement thinking whether you'll get out of it again...
