it's an issue but i really don't see any solutions it's kinda sad.
no incentive for people to minimize garbage creation 😰

There is no immediate incentive. Hopefully public opinion will slowly change and eventually demand sustainability. It can only be done by changing opinion one by one.

Really looking forward to finishing this book myself.

It is devastating the current state of public opinion surrounding environmental issues. He's right, you're right...we need massive change. Unfortunately there is no immediate incentive, changing public opinion is going to take a long time. I am worried it might be too late by the time the global population has realized what state we're in.

I do hope people will at least be able to stand by the environmental movement from an economic point of view. I do agree that the economy may be stagnant for awhile unless we can start integrating green companies, sustainable products, etc. into our current economy.

I never thought about the religious perspective. That is fascinating. However, I really hope that people are not using their religious philosophies as reason for ignoring the state of our environment.

For anyone who doesn't have access to the book this is a TED Talk by the author Paul Gilding |The Earth Is Full

really like your discussion. you are incredibly articulate and concise tho my one critique is you talk a tad too quickly and its difficult to catch some words. O'm not sure i'll buy the book but im going to look him up in the library for sure :)

Thank you! I'm glad you thought it was concise because usually I talk fast in order to make the video shorter since I have a lot of different thoughts about this topic. You can take a look at his ted talk in one of the comments above. It's not as good as the book, but you can hear more of his perspective and you already got most of the main book points through my video.

p.s dont forget to use palnet as one of your tags so you can earn palcoin also!

I didn't realize their were people curating with palcoins. Will have to add it in next time!

Challenging reading is always one for the win. Nice contribution to the idea of making the world a better place.
