Learn Upright Bass in a Minute! Lesson 11 - French Grip.

in #dtube5 years ago

Lesson 11! The next 5 lessons will be about using the bow. We begin here with the French Grip. Remember to use your metronome.

This is a series of short bass lessons that are geared toward the beginner and intermediate upright bass student. In this series I will teach you the fundamentals of great bass playing like right and left hand technique, posture, time, scales and arpeggios, pitch, the basics of building a bass line, and how to combine these skills to make music.

By keeping these lessons all around a minute long it will be easier for you to find the info that you need, get the point, and practice on your own without getting distracted by extra information.

Each week I will focus on a different fundamental starting on Monday with the introduction and posting a lesson per day. Each of these fundamentals requires more than a day of practice so keep practicing what you’ve learned already and build on it and don’t hesitate to refer back to older lessons, repetition is key.

If you find these lessons helpful please consider supporting my work with crypto! If your coin of choice isn’t listed below just let me know and I’ll put it up :)
