I'm getting fed up with the wind now - it's all we seem to hear as the house gets battered. I believe it'll now start to die down a little.
Unfortunately I'm not personally in a position to donate hair to the birdies these days but we make up for it with the rest of the family. The fur from brushing the cats and dog gets donated as well as when the wife and kids have their hair cut. There must be some pretty well insulated nests out there.
It can certainly get a little drafty! It feels to have been consistently uncomfortably blowy for around 10 days or so...until now. There's hardly any breeze at all.

I bet you get some strong winds off the sea. It's calmed down a lot here now.
We have our hair cut at home, so I can collect plenty plus the cat.
