I keep trying to tell people who are posting long posts on Facebook, multipost tweets on twitter and video content creators and livestreamers that decentralized services exist. I've only had two folks willing to join in so far, and that was while I was still offering up free, instant accounts before using the rest to power up.
I've seen other YouTubers who dump their content onto Dapps like D.tube but never pay attention to it otherwise. They're so intent on focusing solely on YouTube and getting superchats, leaving all their eggs in one basket. Then the next week or month they're crying about how unfair YouTube has been lately. They continue doing their eggs in one basket routine, and later cry yet again about how YouTube is messing things up for them.
Meanwhile, I've made $40 total from YouTube prior to the 1000 sub + whatever minutes/hours watched thing via an MCN. Meanwhile on Steemit, I've scored double that with far less work and involvement. That's not counting my other cryptowallets. In bitcoin alone I've been able to afford over $1300 in hearing amplifier products from Britzgo to be able to do reviews on their products (I can't hear for shit) and was able to buy almost their entire product line.
Yet what do I know? I only have 110 subscribers on YouTube. Pfft, just a small fry, he doesn't know a damn thing. My eggs aren't in one single basket, theirs, however, is in one basket. It's why they cry while I'm smiling and laughing every time they release a "YouTube is screwing us" video.
Just point and laugh. Some folks will never learn. I've learned it's easier to catch the small fry YouTuber, than it is to catch someone with 1000+ subs. And those with 1000+ subscribers that are already using D.Tube haven't investigated enough time in the platform to really get any notice so they write it off as garbage. Joke's on them.
We shall see. I find it therapeutic to be able to create in practically any format I want, be it video, vlog, blog, reviews, memes, selfies, source code contributions, etc. Honestly I'm not even in it for the money, though I know others are. I'm in this for the sole purpose of being free to express myself.

And how to know whom companies will choose as early birds?
this month that's all we know.. .. we will not know who they decide to pick, i guess those that can create the best replies to their quests. i'll be doing a free unofficial course for people to step through on skillshare. i've already started it, just waiting for access now to start recording and to explain how quests will work, i will be finding out for the first time too.
I'm still so excited about this and after watching the video I was wondering why hunt tokens aren't on steem-engine? I was also wondering if there will be an affiliate program, for example I'm a blogger with connections and if I bring in a business that has a big advertising budget, can I get a commission?
