RE: Why do People Hate Steemit? THIS IS A MESSAGE TO ALL CREATORS

Very well said @sergiomendes. I like the point you made about the platform becoming a space just for creators. Ultimately, user-friendly is a must but, just like any new platform - these things take time. Right now we're in a nice spot where we can receive value for helping to develop the platform. We can take that support and do what we want with it, but ultimately it will also influence what the platform looks like in the future. I personally would be okay if this space ended up being a space for creators because creativity is definitely on the rise. I also think that a crypto-focused video platform is fulfilling a need and thus the reason why many of us our on here in the first place.

My prediction here is that the success of DTube will be equivalent to the success of cryptocurrency. If there's more money and interest in the space, there will be more developers, creators, and people in general. Right now, the fact that 90% of the people I speak to don't even understand what bitcoin is, makes it a bit more difficult to explain. But once we get over the "woo-woo" feeling of crypto and it becomes a THING then we can really build on the personality and character of the content. Right now we're experiencing a lot of the framework still - even as content creators.

In the end - you are right @sergiomendes. We do need to strive to make this content more relatable. Ideally, I'd like to meet the mainstream in the middle...you educate yourself and I'll entertain you ;-)
