elliott wave theory omg ... its been a while since i heard that one
imo , all the "old" statistics from forex and stock were already flawed because they take all data , from even before the world war, right ? up until today and use the same math on it over the whole line
while it should be clear that the math is different during war-time, or during a global event like lehmanns and the aftershock
despite that all teh numbers over all time are taking, thrown into one bucket and treated alike ...
now ! (im getting to my point ..) putting THAT on something as new as planet Crypton (which doesnt even HAVE a backing in the real world like classic forex would , i mean your trillions dollar market is beyond omega to calculate but yet its ALL backed by everything at once happening during the day today, from a student buying a coke to coca cola buying yen to deal with sony in japan lol)
crypto doesnt have that, which makes the statistics double unreliable (thats my not professional opionon ofcourse, im not in finance but i did get a bit of math when i was young and had a braincell, mathematically it makes zero sense to think the statistics apply all across the board)
however, in my personal observation i have found fibonacci levels to often be key points but i think thats mainly sentiment first, not math, people put their positions because they expect it
elliott is a bit complex but im not sure it can apply in any way to something thats not even 20 years old with zero backing in the real world, mainly driven, lets say about 90% driven by fud and sentiment
noise-trading is as far as i know the safest bet if you can get in and out fast enough and keep it tight
otherwise a grid / martin gale, but that's only if you can hold out lol and seeing the state of crypto, if you had a bad position over 15.000 ....
thats starting to hurt now
