I have to admit I don't watch a lot of the videos people post as they can be quite long and I can't skim them like a text post. The idea of a Snap is that it's only a minute, so you don't need to commit much time.
I thought of try a musical one. I've played this Green Day song plenty of times, but this is just the solo plus a bit. I was having to fiddle with my phone and start the backing track, but it just fitted in a minute. The audio may not be great. I need to see if I can get dtube uploads from the PC to work and then I may be able to do proper edits, but this should be a fairly impromptu activity.

I agree with you, I think it is hard to sit through some of the videos sometimes. Plus other times dtube doesn't work right and it just kind of stalls on me. I was thinking the other day it would be cool if someone made a Vine type service for STEEM that only allows you to post quick little videos. An app that you could do from your phone would be awesome. This was really cool! I got to see Greenday in concert many years ago and they were awesome. Actually, you should have been there. There was a part of the show where they pulled people out of the crowd and let them play the song while they sang. I remember the kid they picked to drum couldn't keep time and they had to kick him off stage :)
I expect dtube are working on an app. It's fiddly to post from my phone as I have to make my own preview image. My daughter is a big Green Day fan and has seen them live. I've played a few of their songs
I understand what you are saying about the preview image. That caused me some headaches the first couple of times I tried dtube too.

Is a 'quitar' when you give up playing it? ;) Sorry. Have you played before? I recommend finding a teacher or a class if not as it's tricky at the start and it will hurt your fingers.
