Clippers Jazz Predictions

Let me start off this article by saying that I feel really bad for the Clippers. Kawhi and PG combined for 48 in their last game against the Jazz but were completely overshadowed by Mitchell's 37 points and Clarkson's 24 off the bench.

Reggie Jackson had a fantastic game as well putting on an absolute clinic in the second half and ended up putting up 29 to lead the Clippers while shooting 50% from 3-pt land, yet it wasn't enough... Why?

One issue that has been pestering the Clippers this series is the three point shooting from just about everyone else. The Clippers had the best 3-pt percentage in the league this year while the Jazz made the most threes per game; however, only one of these trends has followed into this series as the Jazz are outshooting the Clippers. In game 2 the Jazz made 20 threes shooting over 50% where the Clippers made 11 and missed 19. The difference in scoring could be accounted for if the Clippers could find a way to knock down their open shots... notably Morris Sr. who went 0-5 from beyond the three point line in game 2.

The Jazz have been excellent but have also given up huge runs in the games to the Clippers after going up big. I think that if the Clippers are able to knock down the open shots they create and get Mitchell to drive left more often than he drives right, they could find a way to squeeze out a home win tonight. If those adjustments aren't made, we'll be seeing Mitchell vs Booker in the conference finals next week.

And what do you think about this? Will the clippers really pull the knock down?

They have a chance to do it but I think I am guilty of underestimating this Jazz squad. We'll see but I think it could go either way tonight in a close one.

I think the same too. We wait to see
