HIVE goes through a seven day cycle. You will see the rewards from your first post for seven days at which point you will need to press a button called "claim rewards" to get the rewards.

It appears that you are using esteem. esteem shows that different upvotes have different values. I have 2500 HP and my upvote is worth $0.02. The account @vagabondspirit has 124 HP. His upvote is worth $0.001.
Your upvote is worth nothing because you have no HP. The upvote calculator shows the value of the upvote for a given amount of HIVE.
Because you have no HP; you don't have any resources for your account.
Your best bet for getting some HP is to write a post with the tag #introduceyourself . The post should have some pictures. You can have five tags per post.

The resource credits limit the number of posts you can make. It is best to use them on posts and not comments until you have built up some HP in your account.
