It sure is an exciting time to be a Splinterlander!

The third DYGYCON event is happening tomorrow from 2-5pm EST in our virtual expo powered by Gamerjibe! We’ve got tons of great stuff lined up, from booth holders with awesome releases coming soon, to sponsors with free stuff to hand out, to incredible prizes to be given away by some of our top sponsors!

New and Improved!

Gamerjibe has made some amazing updates to the whole event experience, including more responsive and expressive avatars, more design control for every user, and the return of the beloved ability to jump!

Make sure you pre-register for the event at THIS LINK and arrive early on Saturday to ensure your space in the event. Only 500 concurrent guests may attend, and more than that have already pre-registered, so some folks may get left out and we’d hate for that to be you!

Choose How to Move

When you first enter the environment after designing your avatar, you’ll be able to move around by clicking on any location in the space. This click 2 move option is great for beginners who are feeling overwhelmed, but gamers and veterans will want to switch to the WASD method that uses the keyboard to move.

Hover over the SETTINGS cog as pictured above and simply toggle to WASD. Then you’ll be able to control yourself with the ARROW or WASD keys. In this mode, hold SHIFT to run and press SPACE to jump. You can even double jump and land on top of things, so have fun with that! The person who takes and shares a screenshot of their avatar in the highest place in the venue will receive the prestigious Highest Guest Badge as a WAX NFT!

You can always change the angle of view by using right click and drag, which helps you get those perfect screenshots and video captures for social media shares. You can make avatars’ names disappear by pushing N and you can stop the music by pushing M.

Sign up for Stuff

The more you interact with the event, the more chances you’ll have to get stuff! The whole environment is gamified with special WAX NFT Badges that will be awarded based on activities like fishing, dancing, roasting mallows, even chilling in bean bags and visiting booths.

To be eligible for all prizes and giveaways, you’ll need to fill out the form at the SWAG Booth. Only fill this form out once. People found to be duplicating their information will be disqualified from rewards (and we will know).

To prepare for the SWAG booth and the opportunity to maximize your SWAG, you’ll need to have a Splinterlands account, a WAX wallet and an ETH wallet. There are also some seemingly random questions whose answers may gain access to other special novelty NFT badges.

Splinterlands Prizes

Lots of our sponsors will be giving things away to guests of the event, and Splinterlands is no exception. We’re giving away (via drawing after the event) 15 Legendary Summoners and a bunch of Booster Packs! How many Booster Packs? That will depend on how many people show up, so tell your friends to join you at DYGYCON!
