What that implies?
Implies we have utilised more from nature than our planet can recharge in the whole year. Overshoot Day comes quicker each year because of the unreasonable levels of natural resource usage.
Today is the date when humanity demand more resources from planet Earth then last year, and nature can't produce fast enough.
We have to make a change, take a step back, and think about our future. Future that we create for our kids. We have to change. Change your bad habits, starting from your yard and house, then move in front of your street, move down the street. Make a difference.
Together, we can start to create positive change.
We are killing our only home.
It's only August. And we are already in debt, for last year, and year before that... Basic economy.
