Building a Guest Cottage Next to the Food Forest - Framing Up

In this post @thelaundrylady tells us about the cottage that is being built on her property for guests to stay in. The cottage she designed herself and she includes a picture of that drawing, along with all the dimensions. There are also some wonderful photos of the build with more to come at a later date. This cottage is right next to her food forest and will also have a pond built close to it in the future. This post is so inspiring as it shows how capable we are of achieving the things we want when we put our mind to it.

I love this post, because it shows us how easy it is, to re use and recycle items that we may get for free or quite cheap. @senorcoconut is the king or recycling, always on the look out for materials that are being unused or thrown away. In this post he shares an easy way in which to make a workbench out of pallets. I was ver impressed with this and may have to give it a go myself, as I need a potting table.

@nainaztengra shares with us a time in her life where she came up against betrayal, which led to her losing money and undergoing a lot of stress. In this post she talks about how she struggled to get past this point of her life, until one morning she listened to the voice within which told her that everything would be okay. Learning to trust this voice and to nurture the strength that comes from our inner knowing is so important. This is such a huge step in selfempowerment. @elamental shares this video he took at the Steem Smoke out that happened in Portland recently. He introduces us to @CannabisCigars, who are making blunts out of hemp leaves and rose petals. They come in 2 gram, 5 gram and 10 gram sizes and they are shipping them all over America and Europe. I love the hemp plant and it is so great to see yet another way in which this awesome plant can be utilized.
One Perfect Day: When You Realise How Perfect It Is, You'll Tilt Your Head Back and Laugh at The Sky

That this idea of perfection that has been pushed on us, that so many strive for, does not serve us well. We need to remember that it is the simple things that give us the greatest joy. It is up to each one of us, how we decide to live our lives.
