Holidays definitely, traditionally, are tied to natural phenomena; it was the way our ancestors were best able not just to identify the growing seasons, but to celebrate life and, in the case of Easter/Eostre celebrations, life's renewal.

Yep! He turns 19 today! And like a proper 19 year old should be, he's still sleeping at 10:30 on a Sunday morning! Lucky twerp.
Yes!! Don't we wish we were 19 again... Wait! When I was 19, I was working and going to school. And didn't have a life. I am much better off where I am now. Life was so hard back then. :)) But, it was so fun!
