Here in Ireland it's front page news if the mercury hits 27, 28, 29 degrees Celsius! I remember from holidays though, a good one can be ice left on front of the fans in the bedroom can help. Maybe try that?

Lucky you are and my favorite temperatures are between 18-24C.
Yes it must have been difficult for you on holiday in the higher temperatures. Ice in front of the fan lasts for 30 minutes and then it has to be refilled. So it is a lot of up and downs from the bedroom to the kitchen and back.
I am looking for a more lasting solution.
