A picture with little text isn't considered "quality content" by these type of folks and they'll spend their time and energy making sure you don't earn anything and eventually your reputation will be lowered to the point that your content will be blocked unless someone explicitly clicks to see it.

Thank you! It's just weird because Hive/Ecency was never supposed to be a Blogger-only platform. I was one of the original Steemit users and migrated with the fork. I've been doing the same thing for years - posting my usual content of videos, memes, music, and occasional articles. It's just weird to have this fixation by this rando who himself has not even posted in 6 years.
