A few days ago, I wrote an article "Don't Call it a Comeback" and I gave props to a few of the apps that I've been on since I've been back to HIVE.
The decision to come back to this amazing platform was not something I was fully set to return to but yes there was always that possibility in the back of my mind that it would be inevitable. I absolutely did not have a timeline on when it would happen and if it didn't perhaps I would have been fine with that too.
Then I believe I saw a post on Xfrom Ecency or someone mentioning something about it and if there is a solid app it's without question Ecency is one of the best. No doubt about that.
The funny thing is that I was a bit hesitant on coming back to the account I had. I was contemplating just starting from scratch and thinking I'll do things differently. So I signed up through Ecency as if I was a complete newbie. Then I quickly realized how stupid is that 🤣Why would I do that? I searched for my credentials that I had securely put away and just went back in without any issues. Nice and easy.
Then quickly saw a post by my buddy @jongolson then saw@elianaicgomes as well and quickly knew I was back home. I believe I've been back at least two months or so.
Where I failed was not giving the Ecency platform the flowers it deserves because it had a lasting impression enough from my past here on the HIVE where I spent five years on and always frequenting the app. Everything from the clean look, the simplicity in it's use and being one of the powerful champions on this blockchain.
I am a fan of the X type social media apps because I prefer short and sweet posts opposed to long form posting and of course Ecency's Wave was a sight for sore eyes when they introduced it.
So yes, I'm back and making full use of the many apps on this blockchain is definitely a must, but Ecency is one of the few I make sure to have up whenever I'm on the blockchain that's including not only on my laptop but my iPhone. It's still early on with my comeback but Ecency will definitely be one of my go to's.
I'm happy to see you back and it's particularly awesome to see you waving! Be sure and check out Ecency chat. DMs and Town Square chat. Each community has their own chat, some are more active than others, and creating group chats is new. Each profile has an option to 'message'
On each post you will see an option to 'recommend' that will bring it to the attention of the curation team. New posts that show effort often receive Ecency votes or Points , no matter which front end they are using. Check out the Curation Desk in the top left menu. Applications are open for November guest curators, if you have time.

@airhawk-project - I missed the community, the freedom, the dApps, much lesser noise than traditional social media, and so much more. More importantly, it felt like home for five years and I just missed it.
