I discovered this post on 2022-May-20. By this time you may have heard about the situation regarding the stablecoin TerraUSD (UST) and its associated coin Terra (LUNA). I mention this because UST was supposed to be one of the more widely-used stablecoins, but due to irresponsible actions it has been rendered virtually worthless. Now the stablecoin Tether (USDT) finds itself in trouble, and USDT is a Top 10 cryptocurrency by market cap.
I bring up these 2 stablecoins because they were near the top of the cryptocurrency world, and they will either crash and burn or are on their way to that fate. Along the way they will lose whatever trust (and love) they had, and they will be abandoned.
This happens with people as well. They become successful, they reach their apex, but along the way they become full of pride. Just as they think nothing bad can happen to them, they begin their fall from the top. The fall continues until the crash to the ground.
Unlike cryptocurrencies, people have intrinsic worth and value. They need to remember that we love them for who they are when they have nothing but only themselves. Everything else about them comes and goes.
