An interesting topic for reflection, I also feel and think like. As one clever man said, a turning point has already been made, due to the fact that in the first in the history of the human species a highly effective tool of production became available to everyone, there is in view of the new information era and accessibility of computers to each.
And one more aspect if we take into consideration such a thing as the laws of karma, then think that we consider ourselves in the right to exploit a multitude of living creatures while cause their suffering, but when this concerns our species, we are indignant at the "not fairness" of what is happening ...
Id have to agree with you, we are in the age of information (Aquarius) and with computers in every ones pockets these days, there seems to be growing number of people being woke up in masses lately which is much needed. But a lot of people also just waste their time on social media and useless sites that don't educate them at all, so using the information properly is another huge problem we need to address.
But you are correct about karma, we have been a species that decimates other species for our own personal gain and that is not a balanced world, and we cant go on like this to much longer without huge repercussions. However, I do think people are starting to understand that a little more each day.
There are so many problems in the world, if we just all worked together instead of against one another this world would be a beautiful place with a lot less suffering.
