People tend to think they are prepared. We have numerous instances throughout history where people thought they were totally prepared only for things to turn out differently.
We only need to look at Hurricane Florence in the States to see this in action. Those people had more than a week to prepare for the hurricane, something the coast of the U.S. did thousands of times. As we saw, what happened, nobody could plan for.
Most of the preparation, at least to property, was for naught.
The same holds true for the financial market. No matter how prepared people think they are, they will most likely err in their judgement. This is going to cause pain for millions.
