I do most of this but I have to say it isn't always easy. Not forcing a child... I always give mine the choice, provided it doesn't hurt them like terribly. Sometimes it is not my choice, but I grit my teeth and try not to condemn. I do explain the check and balance of their choice if there are repercussions, but some mistakes they need to make for themselves.
