Love how you dug into actual research on what is peaceful to search out your answer. I don’t think I’d feel very peaceful if it was cold all the time, either! But perhaps being inside all of the time cooped up, these people have learned how to get along? Lol I also believe we must have hope for peace if we’ll ever see it. Long live the dreamers!

Yes, possibly they had to learn to get along so make the long withers bearable. It does seem that hot climates have more hot tempers.
