Hi everyone.
Tonight I'm posting a different sort of post. About my EDC, or every day carry items. This is things that I have on me pretty much whenever I leave the house. I'd carry my 9mm as well, but our Prime Minister thinks only criminals should be allowed to carry side arms.
So then what do I carry, well, less than some I suspect. I have tools in my truck, a winter survival bag, 72hr ration bars, candles etc. I winter kits are essential if you travel anywhere in the the country in winter. But Im talking what to carry, just popping round the local, or to the store, or work.
So, I have lots of knives and watches, but this is a pretty standard kit.
SOG Flash II assisted opening knife. This beater has been in my pocket pretty much daily for 8 years.
A standard dollar store lighter. This may sound weird, but I buy packs of lighters at the dollar store, they're handy for camping and I find a lot of people ask for a light, sometimes the intention is to rob you, give them a lighter, they'll rob the next guy... or sometimes you gotta burn a motherf*&kers house down...
Maybe, the most important thing to carry... a small dependable flashlight (or torch, depending where you are).
This is my USB rechargeable Streamlight MicroStream. Its hecka-bright and can charge in my truck.
And a watch of some sort. I like an automatic, but really and watch I wear is fine. This one has been on my wrist lately, its a Cadisen "Royal Oak". Seiko movement, works great, looks cool.
Apart from that, I like to usually have a multi tool. Either of my favorites will do, but I tend to want my Victorinox Cybertool. Over the Leatherman Wave.
