That error message means your post has already been paid out. So at least no additional reward will be given regardless of what edits you apply.
Try making a whole new post.
Call it part 2 or something :)
How long can posts be edited for? Do you know?

@fabz89 have you been able to edit your posts yet? I tried over several days and still have not been able to edit my recent posts? Wonder if Steemit plans to fix this problem?
