In this post I will teach you how to use the Major System memory technique to memorize the specific start and ending date of the first World War: the war to end all wars (which did not end wars at all but just made them more horrible and destructive).
One hundred years ago our great-grandfathers and fought against each other in the most deadly conflict the world has ever seen. 60 million military personal were being moved, 9 million soldiers died and with them 7 million civilists. It is ironic that I am a half German and half English, writing this post now in both English and German one century later.
In this post I will not explain how the Major System works. I have already written a detailed explanation about it on Steemit. Please use this article as a reference. We will use some of my training images for this article which I am selling with my company.
A German pilot is doing a scouting flight in his biplane for many hours. He gets so tired that he falls asleep doing a nap. He leans forward and the plane is diving down, flying super low. He crashes into a giant TV in London, which was just build for public football viewing. That means war!
These images are totally random but they bare a sad irony: 11 is dead and November is the 11th month. So we have a double dead here. We can continue our story directly after the crash into the TV: The British start shooting towards Germany, the Germans shoot back. Both sides drop dead so it is a double-kill! A lonely medic goes over the field of dead corpses and tapes the wounds of the few survivors.

That's interesting!
WW1 - 1914 - 1918
WW2 - 1939 - 1945
Yeah, the years are mostly well recognized. But this will help with the specific dates. I find the ending date unforgettable with these images.
WW3 - 9/11 to present lol
Sad but has some truth to it. On another matter: Do you still remember what you did on 9/11? Most people who were at age by then do. Do you remember the day before that and the day after? Probably not. Interesting example for how the memory works.

Yeah, technology is easily replacing our memory these days. However, it is good to keep your brain sharp and memory techniques are ideal for that. Also, you can use these techniques for other information as well, like passwords for example.
What is this Twitter queue you have mentioned above?
SUPER interesting! Does anyone else even do what you do? I bet you don't have much competition in your niche? @flauwy
Don't say that. My memory coach colleagues are very successful business people with often high incomes. I do have a lot of experience but I am just building my new business now. Our first video course will come hopfully in one or two months.
Oh sorry. Didn't mean any disrespect. I meant it as a compliment. I didn't know @flauwy
No, of course, I didn't assume that. But I can tell you it is a niche well filled but it is also growing quickly.
Oh okay, good to know! :)
