I was explaining to my students last week on how to solve simple quadratic equation, i was telling them that there are some figures with perfect square while some don't have.
In the example i gave to them as you can see on the board, i ask them for the square root of 25/4, i made them to understand that 25/4 has a perfect square, they said how, i ask for the √25 and √4,i told them to take it one after the other, the numerator first and later the denominator, that is how we arrive at 5/2.
They certainly know the square root of 25 and 4 when they are separate, but when they are together i mean as a fraction, they were confused so i came to understand that life is a lesson, you need a teacher to teach you of many things you don't know.
