Introduction:
Education and knowledge is a platform created for awareness, correction, information, rending of assistance (may be not financially for now, lol) couselling and encouragements, and making available proper mentoring for the Nigerian students.
The group is created to make student understand the concept concept of schooling, education, knowledge and skill acquisition. We’re trying to let the student understand the main difference between schooling and education, knowledge and skills and dealing dwelling with those skill in your society to become relevant and be you own kind of person.
Nigerian education might have being overrated, it has a lesser value than all it’s hypes, that is schooling alone can’t give you enough of the skills and knowledge you require to face the real life here in Nigeria, we pay exorbitant tuitions and miscellaneous (books, shelters, clothing, food etc.), only to graduate from school and find out that there is no job for you, Jobs are not given to the qualified, its shared amidst the families of the personnel who have say at the management of the companies and industries they work, and sometimes you might even get some job where the first salary could not even be equated to the first tuition you actually paid in the institution and the cost of schooling keeps aggravating with time and periods.
Aims and objective:
- Awareness/information: this platform will open the eyes of the youth who are willing and wanting to play their part by sharing their ideas, contributing to other people’s ideas which will make them useful to the society and make them relevant in their communities.
- Tutorials: we will offer a lot of tutorials and proper guidance to everyone especially to people who are willing and ready to know more.
- Counseling and mentoring: there will be an opportunity for people who are bothered by one thing or the other to meet expert in their fields of choices, we noticed so many youths has really beautiful ideas, but they don’t know where to meet people who can enlighten them more about how to do things the best way, everyone has something to offer and everyone needs someone in developing their ideas.
- Entrepreneurship orientation: we will try to support our young struggling entrepreneur-minded members with our techniques of motivation and guidance and introducing them to ways of doing things the right and best way. We will also give tips about some right ways to deal with online money making websites.
Statement of the Problems - So many youths don’t really understand the actual reasons they come to school, everyone thinks going to school will automatically make them get rich at the end of everything, that’s happened in the past, but now we’re in the 21st century, where it’s knowledge-based, no real place for anyone without no knowledge.
- To tackle the problems of ideas without no support and proper guidance and good mentorship. Beautiful creative and business ideas fail because of lack of good guidance and proper mentoring. Our platform will strive to tackle all these.
- To empower youths and make them realize the real reasons why schooling alone is not enough the gain knowledge fit for dwelling well in our present society.
- To tackle the problem youths face about proper time management. When people got a lot to do and don’t know where to start from, some might start from the unnecessary ones, some people get bored and don’t even do anything, lol.
Conclusion
Information is life, people who don’t know what’s going on in their environment are less privileged, because knowledge is power and everyone knows that there is a big difference between the one who knows and the who doesn’t (at point in time).
This is our way to let student understand the fact that Nigerian system of education could not possibly be trusted enough to lean on for knowledge and skills required in this 21st century. Think about how many graduates already had that certificate you’re struggling now to acquire, are they all employed yet? Help yourself with something peculiar to you, get an uncommon knowledge, think out of the box, acquire knowledge that makes you fit for the community, learn something, start doing something, yes you can start now, it’s not too late yet.

Thank you very much for coming up with this great idea. For the Nigeria we are today, education is just a tool not an automatic ticket to riches like it used to be. It is hightime we learnt how to depend on ourself but not government, because they are failing us, even to the extent of paying huge school fee in some public schools.
