Skill and talent

Over the last several years I have had set my mind on one little thing. One thing that my parents told me that will keep me apart from everyone else.

I was asked to learn one Skill.

Just one skill to master. And one skill that will be part of my life.

And as I grew up I decided writing to be this one skill that I will hone and craft all my life. To some extent I did it, I tried to learn the art of writing and I do earn a little money by selling my craft.

Recently I met a guy who looked like he was in his late teens but he was in his late twenties. His young face and childish behavior hid his age well.

I asked him what skill he had and he was blank. He has no skill and had no idea why we need skills in life. And now I know why he was finding it difficult to find a good job. He had no skill that he could sell.

Anyways, I am not here to make fun of him but to share with you my thoughts. It is always better to be a skilled labor than to be an unskilled King.
