In my country Nigeria, many parents want and always desire the best for their children which is very good and loving of any parent, in ensuring this come to fruition they enrol the child in school from the beginning till when the child is an adult and can take care of him or herself.

Along the line in ensuring the child become useful and attain his or her full potentials, parents in my country make this mistake of choosing a career path for their children different from the deserves and passion of the child, so they force the child, for example, to study IBBS to become a Doctor because they want to have a Doctor in the family, they desire it and love the fact that they produce a Doctor in the family while all the child is gifted and skill to do is dance, so the child has a dancing talent but she cant try mentioning it in the front of her parents that this is what she loves doing and want to become better in doing this that she is skilled to gain mastery and become relevant in that industry but her parents won't let her and they succeeded in forcing her study a course she is not passionate about.

The danger in forcing your child in career part she or he is not passionate about is wasted years in his or her destiny because that child might never find fulfilment doing what you want that she is not passionate about, so we have people in our society with a doctorate degree but are full-time musicians, we also have people who have a law degree but are full-time businessmen and women the list go on and on.

It is of great importance to note as parents that in this age and time as pomp will say " Nobody who matters cares where you went to school anymore". our children should follow their passion and not be forced to study what they don"t want in school.
