Hey everyone, I hope the rest of the week ended well for you and that the weekend is enjoyable. Today we will be discussing the G MixoLydian Pentatonic position. The intervals from the perspective of C Ionian would be 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 5. But from the perspective of having the first interval as a one, the intervals would be 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 1. The two intervals not dissonant with Ionian that are missing from the Pentatonic mode in comparison to the full 7 interval mode are 3, and b7 from the perspective of the mixolydian mode, while from the perspective of the Ionian mode the missing intervals would be 7, and 4 respectively.
As with all the modes in relation to C Ionian, chords that could provide the melody on which you could solo in g mixolydian mode would include cmaj, dmin, emin, fmaj, gmaj, amin, and bdim.

The perspectives used in this video are the interval perspective, the frets to play perspective with the octive distinctive and the recommended fingering perspective at the 2nd fret of the guitar. But there are many other perspectives one might employ in seeking to understand and manipulate one's world subject to one's perceived goals and perceived constraints.
