Nice post. I used to teach English to kids as well, now I have only adult students where things are very different. But I always need to ask myself what is the reason they are here. Do the genuinely want o be here themselves or did somebody make them be here, like the parents or their bosses. So most important is to be flexible and to have a passion for what you are doing.
