Peranan Sekolah Dalam Ideologi Liberalisasi Pendidikan Sekolah adalah lembaga pendidikan yang menghendaki kehadiran penuh kelompok-kelompok umur tertentu dalam ruang-ruang kelas yang dipimpin oleh guru untuk mempelajari kurikulum-kurikulum yang bertingkat.Sekolah adalah bangunan atau lembaga untuk belajar dan mengajar, serta tempat menerima dan memberi pelajaran. Dari dua pengertian di atas dapat kita simpulkan bahwa besarnya peran sekolah dalam pengajaran kurikulum pendidikan kepada peserta didik. Mengingat besarnya peran sekolah, maka sangat perlu adanya kurikulum yang sesuai dengan konsep dasar Islam, yaitu Al Quran dan As-Sunnah. Agar nantinya peserta didik dapat membentengi diri dari hal-hal yang merusak pendidikan itu sendiri. Sekolah secara berangsur-angsur mengubah anak manja menjadi orang dewasa yang bertanggungjawab. Sekolah mengambil anak dari temannya, melalui tingkatan-tingkatan yang ditetapkan dengan seksama, di bawa ke suatu prototipe dunia pekerjaan. Mereka menamatkan anak yang sempurna dan meluluskan orang yang sempurna. Dalam memandang arti penting sekolah para penganut aliran liberalisasi pendidikan memiliki pendapat yang berbeda-beda, diantaranya aliran anarkisme pendidikan berpendapat bahwa sistem persekolahan formal harus dihapuskan sepenuhnya dan diganti dengan sebuah pola belajar sukarela serta mengarahkan diri sendiri; akses yang bebas dan universal ke bahan-bahan pendidikan serta kesempatan-kesempatan belajar mesti disediakan namun tanpa sistem pengajaran wajib. Sementara itu aliran liberalisasi pendidikan lain yang masih menganggap arti penting peranan sekolah mengatakan bahwa peranan atau sasaran berdirinya sekolah adalah : a. Untuk menyediakan informasi dan ketrampilan-ketrampilan yang diperlukan oleh siswa untuk belajar secara efektir bagi dirinya sendiri. b. Untuk mengajar para siswa bagaimana cara memecahkan masalah praktis lewat penerapan tatacara-tatacara penyelesaian masalah secara individual maupun kelompok yang didasarkan pada metode-metode ilmiah rasional. c. Sementara itu aliran liberasionisme pendidikan mendasari perlunya pendirian sekolah dengan tiga alasan utama yaitu : 1. Untuk membantu para siswa mengenali dan menanggapi kebutuhan akan pembaharuan atau perombakan sosial. 2. Untuk menyediakan informasi dan ketrampilan-ketrampilan yang diperlukan siswa supaya bisa belajar secara efektif bagi dirinya sendiri. 3. Untuk mengajar para siswa tentang bagaimana caranya memecahkan masalah-masalah praktis melalui penerapan teknik-teknik penyelesaian masalah secara individual maupun kelompok yang didasari oleh metode-metode ilmiah rasional. Dari pendapat-pendapat di atas, kita berpendapat penting adanya sekolah atau lembaga pendidikan agar proses pendidikan lebih teratur dan terarah. Namun kita juga tidak membatasi pendidikan hanya di dalam sekolah saja, akan tetapi pendidikan dapat diperoleh kapan dan di mana saja supaya ilmu lebih luas dan berkembang.

Schools are buildings or institutions for learning and teaching, as well as places to receive and give a lesson. From the two above understanding we can conclude that the magnitude of the role of schools in the teaching of educational curriculum to learners. Given the magnitude of the role of schools, it is necessary to have a curriculum in accordance with the basic concepts of Islam, namely Al Quran and As-Sunnah. So that later learners can fortify themselves from things that damage education itself. Schools gradually transform spoiled children into responsible adults. School takes children from friends, through carefully defined levels, brought to a working world prototype. They complete the perfect child and graduate the perfect person. In view of the importance of the school the adherents of the liberalization school of education have different opinions, such as the flow of educational anarchism argues that the formal schooling system should be completely abolished and replaced by a voluntary and self-directed learning pattern; free and universal access to educational materials and learning opportunities should be provided but without a compulsory teaching system. Meanwhile, other schools of liberalization that still consider the importance of the role of the school says that the role or target of the school is:
a. To provide information and skills required by students to learn effectively for themselves.
b. To teach students how to solve practical problems through the application of individual and group problem solving procedures based on rational scientific methods.
c. Meanwhile, the flow of educational liberationism underlies the need for school establishment with three main reasons:

  1. To help students recognize and respond to the need for social renewal or renovation.
  2. To provide the information and skills students need in order to learn effectively for themselves.
  3. To teach students about how to solve practical problems through the application of individual and group problem-solving techniques based on rational scientific methods. From the opinions above, we argue the importance of the school or educational institutions for the educational process more regularly and directed. But we also do not limit the education only in the school, but education can be obtained anytime and anywhere so that knowledge is more widespread and developed.
