What are COSHH courses?

The British Safety Council courses also include the COSHH training course. It stands for Control of Substances Hazardous to Health. According to the 2002 Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations employers and companies to safeguard their workers against the harmful effects of hazardous substances. This is because nowadays a large number of organisations' use substances which could cause a possible threat to the health of safety of those who come in direct contact including the employees and contractors.

And hence the COSHH training courses are designed to help both employers and the employees to identify the harmful substances to which they are exposed to in their work environments. Moreover, the course would also be concerned in teaching the delegates to measure the intensity of the adverse effects of hazardous substances and limit their subsequent exposure as a means of damage control.
