The ultimate dream of any parent is to provide their children with quality education. Many parents try to achieve this by taking their kids to private schools. Despite the fact that education in private schools is costly, a significant number of people still prefer it to public schools. People attribute the expensive education to the quality of these institutions of learning. Here are the various ways in which private schools helps improve the quality of education.
1. Curriculum
The school curriculum in private schools is set to take care of the overall development of the students. It promotes quality education by incorporating a variety of extra-curricular activities, inter-school competitions, communication and social skills.
Private schools design the curriculum to promote productive student-teacher interactions. It also ensures that the nature of activities in the school focuses on learning. They set the learning phases in a manner that benchmarks the expected learning outcomes for every class and subject. Such an extensive curriculum plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of education.
2. Teachers
Despite the fact that children are the center of school education, teachers are a significant influence in their learning. Private schools promote quality education by recruiting highly qualified teachers to handle students. They have also ensured a standard student-teacher ratio, to make sure that every student is accorded maximum attention.
3. Progress Monitoring
In Private schools, progress monitoring is constantly done. Regular assessment of the performance of both the child and the teacher is paramount. Such a step is meant to provide feedback to the teacher, students, and the parents on the effectiveness of the learning process.
Tracking performance ensures that everyone plays their part and parents also get value for their money. Progress monitoring promotes quality education because the school administration will be aware of the learning and teaching deficit. As a result, the school fills any gaps, and both teachers and students will perform according to the benchmarked goals.
4. Student Empowerment
Education is not always about mastering what teachers teach in class. Private schools have established programs that help children to grow into well-rounded individuals. A suitable example would be the Leadership Academy Program that empowers students with leadership skills. When they finish their studies, they will have not only the classroom knowledge but also leadership skills.
5.School Infrastructure
The infrastructure in private schools is not only functional but also of high quality. The school framework includes classrooms, toilets, library, computer labs, and reading corners among others. Ensuring students have access to proper infrastructure, provides a conducive learning environment for them.
In private schools, they occasionally upgrade the infrastructure. For instance, the libraries have eBooks and functional computers. Such facilities make sure that children have access to the latest information, thus quality education.
In a nutshell, it is evident that most private schools are working hard to achieve a proper education. As education in private schools is high-priced, the investment is worth it. If you are looking to provide your child with top notch learning, a private school is the way to go!
Many people are still very eager to study but are stuck by the cost, and the government now also a lot of programs to facilitate the people in education, what solutions can we do to encourage public interest to want to learn so not always in a state of minimal knowledge? especially in the hinterland
I would obviously take mine too because of this one reason here.
Hi @simonjones,
Interesting post and very good job at dissecting the important points.
However, for the availability of computers, I am not sure this is much of a factor in making private schools education is better.
Since the students in such schools come from families that are wealthy enough to pay for their education in the private industry, these kids without doubt will have computers (if not more) at home.
Many thanks for sharing :)
Is shuld be only 1 school for everybody. It macke the chance for cildren equil.
The fact that private schools provide better education cannot be denied. Most of the rich and influential people send their children to private schools. They won't do that if the quality of education is not good. And no doubt private schools are expensive but for the services that they provide, it's a reasonable amount. Education is an investment. Parents are investing in the future of the child. And like all investment, we should always invest in the best stocks that we can afford.
What you state seems very true but unfortunately I feel that in the U.K, there is a fair bit of stigma placed upon private education. Some may feel that the system is in some way unfair; that the presence of such schools deprives the other children that are forced to attend state schools of opportunities equal to those that are fortunate enough to attend private schools.
Rather than striving to improve the terrible quality of state education as whole, there seems to be a lot of people that would rather simply drag everybody down to the same lower level. It would be nice if they could view the best private schools as leading examples for the state schools to follow. Yet, I fear that this will never happen, especially in the current political and economic climate.
This need to done for betterment of societies

Yes. I agree with everything you say, but hopefully many of these issues are being addressed in state schools too.
Two things you haven't mentioned is that private schools are beyond the budget of the majority of people and that parents are a child's main educator.
My own 3 children went to the local senior school which was close to bottom of the league tables. They all went to university. One is a Lawyer (A Senior Legal Council) One is a Civil Engineer, and the other a Senior Occupational Therapist.
Nature or Nurture??
The one thing I am sure of, and have drummed into them, is, that if you're not nice to know you won't get anywhere in life and that's possibly the most important thing for everyone to aim for ??
You know what I think needs to be done?
Proper education on bullying.
We can't just slap the wrist of bullies or tell victims to simply get over it.
Counsel them. Talk to both parties. Sit them down and talk it out. We can't let bullying continue in schools.
