EGO as they say is your conscious mind and that is your "SELF"...people often relate ego to the other part of the personality and that is SUPER EGO,which is not cool to have.It is a state of ones mind when you are too much into yourself and you consider or lable others as inferior..you look down upon them..
most of the people around are having superego problems..To me they are sick...but they realise it not...
SELF RESPECT on the other hand is a self assurance and a self regard ethic,one is obliged to have it..but one should frame a contrast within the three terms..
There should be a difference
but what i have realised that humble peole in todays world are labelled as cowards,less strong..When you are humble, people will think he is a coward...They say he is humble because he fears ,he is weak..and this is the sad reality friends..they realise it not that he is humble out of respect , love ...
does this mean we are bound to elevate the fringe of ego ,so that we get our due respect?..
just an opinion, i may be wrong...
