Let’s Get Lucky with Ehoumaki~! 😍

Today, February 3rd, people in Japan celebrate Setsubun, the coming of Spring. Special sushi rolls called Ehoumaki, eaten in silence while making a wish, facing the direction of best luck (ehou) specified for each year. 🌸🌸🌸 Japanese People said that it is believed that your dream will come true if you’re be able to eat the entire ehoumaki or the sushi roll on the evening on the said date facing this year’s lucky direction which is South-Southeast and without saying a word.

Take note: If you want to have a good fortune a sushi roll is eaten so that the lucky things will be rolled in. It is said that you must eat the whole portion of sushi roll without cutting it with a knife and etch in the hope that good human relations will not be cut off.

Let’s it! Itadakimasu~ 🌯 🇯🇵 😊
