Elections in Beer Sheva

in #elections5 years ago

Today the post is intended only for residents of Be'er Sheva. If you do not - come tomorrow.

Tomorrow (30.10.2018) local elections will be held in Beer Sheva. The leading candidate for mayor is Rubik Danilovich, the current mayor. Danilovich is a popular mayor, even very popular. He has a list of people who go with him, half women and half men, including people I know and cherish. Should we vote for him?
Danilovich is a young mayor who takes care of the city and its growth. Although part of the development of the city should be credited to Prof. Avishay Braverman, who was the president of Ben-Gurion University, and together with Danilovich created the understanding that Be'er Sheva should be promoted into a high-tech city and cyber, Danilovich continued the struggle even after Braverman left The University and Be'er Sheva, and continued successfully. Danilovich is an excellent speaker who can speak to people from heart to heart. Danilovitch took care of the beauty of Be'er Sheva. He managed to raise billions of dollars and filled the city with fountains, parks, sports facilities and cultural sites, in an unparalleled scale anywhere else in Israel. Danilovich is also a feminist, who takes care of women's participation everywhere.
If it's so wonderful, then what is it? The problem is cleaning. Beer Sheva is not clean. If he had allocated one of his budgets to the beautiful facilities, the city would have been cleaner. Recently Ynet and Yedioth Ahronoth conducted a survey of cleanliness in the 14 largest cities in Israel. The survey examined different criteria and made them weighted. In Be'er Sheva, there is one tin for every 18.5 residents, third from bottom, among the 14 cities, and 59% of the respondents in the WC saw piles filled with their city, a fifth place from below. In Be'er Sheva, there is one cleaner for every 556 people, tenth from the bottom.
A prominent example of the neglect of cleanliness in certain places in Be'er Sheva is the condition of the long promenade, which is parallel to Yosef Hermelin Street, in the Ramot neighborhood, the promenade adjacent to the high-tech park: dried vegetation, wild vegetation, dog feces filling the place, curved floors with tree roots Garbage cans that do not empty them, and a fallen tree trunk. This was the case on 4 October 2018.
So, do you vote for Danilovich and for his list? Decide for yourself. But in any case - go and vote. If you do not vote, you strengthen the extremist parties. Part of your voice goes to lists that you would not give them even one percent.
