Daimler to make electric school bus.

Daimler, the main company of Mercedes-Benz, the car maker, is preparing to make the fully electric school bus. The school bus, with a speed of 160 kilometers, is expected to run on the US street by 2019.

In a report by US Sites Virus on Friday, "It is a 'safe-t-liner' C2 electric bus, which will make Thomas Build Bass, a subsidiary of Daimler."

This bus, called 'Jali', can accommodate 81 children and uses 60 kWh battery per hour. Its maximum speed will be 160 kilometers per hour.

Like other automobile manufacturers, Mercedes-Benzo also said they would increase their range of electric cars in the next few years.

Among the small bus manufacturers working on the electric car project, Thomas Builds Basses has reported 38.7 percent market share in the US market, according to IANS.
