Elk Jerky! — Hive

Hi Friends,

I am a big fan of beef jerky. I would love to eat it more often, but it is usually pretty pricey, and add in the fact that it isn’t very healthy for you, I tend to eat it less than I wish.

The other day I was out of town and ran across a “jerky store”. I was intrigued, and had to check it out. Here is the first thing I purchased from the store… Elk Jerky!

I have had elk tenderloin at a restraint before, and it was amazing. I figured elk jerky had to be pretty good, and it did not disappoint. The flavor and texture were right on point, with just a hint of sweetness from the elk, and the sharp bite of peppered jerky. The jerky was a little thinner than I usually like, but it was still great.

If you ever have the chance to try Elk Jerky, I recommend it!
