I took the YouAreHOPE website down last winter, but fyi, there is a steem woocommerce plugin i had modified that did all this before steemconnect existed, I also had one last summer on a non-charity, nonwordpress site that charged a subscription I also ended up deciding not to pursue. You might want to look at that woocommerce steem one though, It could either be modified or might already do what you want by now, I havent looked at it in 6 months.
